Note for mature Wines – older than 10 years

As purveyors of exclusive, aged Wines, we personally inspect every incoming bottle – and only list Wines we would buy ourselves. All images on our website are photographed by us and show the actual condition of the bottle in our warehouse.

Wine is a living product. As it ages, its aroma, color, and flavor change—sometimes for the better, as tertiary aromas develop, sometimes for the worse, as a wine loses its freshness. This is the character of aged Wines, and precisely what makes them special.

Since we can only assess the visual condition and fill level of a bottle, the sensory risk with mature Wines lies in the nature of the product – not in our care. Therefore, we cannot accept liability for taste, aroma, or cork taint in Wines aged for more than 10 years, nor in any Wines shipped by mail.

An exception applies to cork taint in unaged Wines: Bring the bottle to our store at Wipplingerstraße 12 the next day – we will check it on site and of course replace it if the taint is confirmed.

We thank you for your trust and understanding.

Return of goods and right of withdrawal

  1. Wine-In-Time is prepared, until further notice, to accept returns of goods purchased from them for a full refund under the following conditions: The return must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, the goods must be undamaged, and the original invoice must be presented. Promotional items will only be accepted for return in their entirety.
  2. We kindly ask you to return the goods in their original packaging, as this simplifies the processing of your return.
  3. Returns are accepted at the price valid at the time of the original purchase. The purchase price will be refunded in full. This expressly excludes special order items, display items, clearance stock, and partial quantities from packaging units and sets.
  4. Consumers, as defined by the Consumer Protection Act, may withdraw from a contract subject to the Distance and Off-Premises Sales Act (FAGG) within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period generally begins on the day the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer (other than the carrier), takes possession of the goods. In the case of a purchase contract for multiple goods within a single order, the withdrawal period begins as soon as the buyer, or a third party designated by the buyer, takes possession of the last partial shipment, the last item, or the last piece. The day of receipt is not included in the calculation of the period. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are included in the calculation of the period. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the notice of withdrawal or return the goods in a timely manner.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Wine-In-Time GmbH, Wipplingerstraße 12, 1010 Vienna, Tel.: +43 1 532 35 18, E-Mail: office@wineintime.at by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
