About the manufacturer
Perrier-Jouët
Perrier-Jouët is a champagne house with a fascinating history dating back to 1847 in Épernay. From the very beginning, the house has distinguished itself through a unique artistic vision – a philosophy that continues to resonate today.
What truly makes Perrier-Jouët unique is the combination of craftsmanship and aesthetic ambition. This is particularly evident in the legendary Belle Époque: each bottle is a work of art, adorned with its iconic, hand-painted anemone decoration. But it's not just about the visual appeal – the champagne itself captivates with its elegance and finesse. Here you're drinking the characteristic Perrier-Jouët style: floral, vibrant, and with a delicate acidity that refreshingly invigorates the palate.
The winery relies on traditional Méthode Champenoise and works closely with select grape growers. The focus is on Chardonnay-dominated blends that prioritize elegance over power – perfect if you appreciate subtle complexity and refinement.
At Wine In Time you will find Perrier-Jouët champagne, which offers the perfect balance between festive beauty and genuine taste pleasure.

The Perrier Jouët Belle Époque 2016 is far more than a Champagne – it's a tribute to the beauty of the moment. This iconic cuvée, produced by the venerable Maison Perrier Jouët in Épernay, has been captivating collectors since 1964 with its hand-painted anemone bottle. The grapes for this exceptional Vintage grow in the finest vineyards of Champagne , where Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blend into perfect harmony.
The vinification adheres to the strictest quality standards: only the finest must components are used, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by five years of aging on the lees. This patient process gives the Perrier Jouët Belle Époque 2016 its exceptional complexity and creamy texture. The 2016 Vintage is considered particularly elegant and promises excellent aging potential.
On the nose, an enchanting bouquet of white blossoms, elderflower, and fresh pear unfolds, accompanied by delicate notes of brioche and almond. On the palate, the cuvée reveals itself as precise and refined: juicy citrus aromas, ripe peach, and a subtle minerality dance on the tongue, carried by a vibrant freshness. The finish is long, elegant, and characterized by a fine chalky minerality.
