About the manufacturer
Louis Roederer
Louis Roederer is one of the world's most traditional and independent champagne houses – based in Reims since 1776 and still family-owned today. This makes the brand truly special in an industry dominated by corporations.
The house is renowned for its perfection and distinctive style. Louis Roederer cultivates its own vineyards, thus controlling the entire value chain and guaranteeing consistently high quality. The legendary Cuvée Cristal, originally created for the Russian Tsar, is proof of this: it is considered one of the world's finest champagnes, distinguished by its elegance, complexity, and aging potential.
You can recognize Louis Roederer champagne by its precise acidity, subtle dosage, and harmonious balance between power and finesse. Whether Cristal Brut or Cristal Brut Rosé – every bottle reflects the house philosophy: quality over quantity, craftsmanship over trends.
At Wine In Time you will find a curated selection of these great champagnes and benefit from expert advice from true connoisseurs.

The Louis Roederer Cristal Brut 2015 is considered one of the world's most sublime Champagnes – a wine that perfectly embodies the philosophy of its house. The carefully selected grapes for this prestige cuvée come from the most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards in Champagne : 60% Pinot Noir for structure and depth, 40% Chardonnay for elegance and finesse. All parcels are cultivated biodynamically, and the grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness.
In the cellar, Louis Roederer Cristal Brut 2015 takes its own path: Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit. The Champagne matures on the lees for three years, and for a further eight months after disgorgement. The dosage remains discreet at 8 g/l – the wine should speak for itself.
On the nose, this 2015 Cristal Brut displays captivating clarity: white blossoms, stone fruit, citrus peel, and a hint of brioche. On the palate, a crystalline texture unfolds – creamy, dense, yet never heavy. Fine chalk, ripe pear, and a touch of toasty notes. The finish is exceptionally long, mineral, precise, with a freshness that lingers for hours.
At Wine In Time, you can get this iconic champagne in elegant gift packaging – perfect for special occasions or as an investment in your collection.
