About the manufacturer
Domaine d'Eugenie
Domaine d'Eugenie is a winery steeped in history, located in Flagey-Echezeaux, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. Here, Pinot Noirs of exceptional finesse and complexity are produced, ranking among the most sought-after in the region.
The estate cultivates some of Burgundy's most prized vineyards, including the legendary Grand Crus Echezeaux and Clos Vougeot. Their philosophy is classic and traditional: maximum grape ripeness, minimal intervention in the cellar, and patience during aging. The result is Wines of depth that unfold their complexity over years.
What makes Domaine d'Eugenie so special is the unmistakable elegance of its Wines. They are never blocky or over-extracted, but instead reveal the subtle nuances of terroir and Vintage. The tannins are silky, the acidity precise, and the aromatic complexity unfolds like a good book – page by page.

The Domaine d'Eugenie Echezeaux 2015 is a Grand Cru that embodies all the finesse of Burgundy Pinot Noir. This renowned estate in the heart of Burgundy cultivates some of the most sought-after vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, producing Wines of exceptional depth and elegance. The Echezeaux 2015 comes from one of the most prestigious Grand Cru appellations and was vinified with the utmost care.
The grapes are hand-picked and fermented using traditional methods. Aging takes place in French oak barrels, with a high proportion of new barriques lending the wine its silky texture and subtle spice. The extended maturation in the cellar allows the aromas to blend harmoniously, giving the wine its remarkable complexity.
On the nose, a complex bouquet unfolds, revealing ripe cherries, wild strawberries, and floral nuances of violets. On the palate, the 2015 Domaine d'Eugenie Echezeaux is both elegant and powerful: silky tannins carry aromas of dark berries, fine minerality, and a hint of undergrowth. The finish is long, precise, and remarkably finesse.
