About the manufacturer
Pierre Yves Colin Morey
Pierre-Yves Colin Morey is a name synonymous with meticulous craftsmanship and consistent quality in Chassagne-Montrachet. This small winery in the southern Côte de Beaune cultivates select parcels with deep respect for tradition and terroir. The focus is on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with Pierre-Yves Colin Morey favoring a classic, vinous style – elegant rather than opulent, mineral rather than overripe.
What sets this producer apart is their unwavering commitment to quality in both the vineyard and the cellar. Minimal intervention, natural fermentations, and subtle oak aging allow the Wines to express their authentic character. You can taste it in every sip: there's no gimmickry here, just a focused approach to the essentials. The Wines are timeless and age-worthy – true classics of the region.
Particularly noteworthy are the various single-vineyard Wines, such as those from the En Remily vineyard, which demonstrate just how much expression can be found in a small Burgundy. If you're looking for authentic, honest Wines from Chassagne-Montrachet that won't mislead you, Wine In Time offers reliable partners for your wine discovery.

En Remily
The Pierre Yves Colin Morey En Remily Premier Cru 2018 is a tribute to the art of Burgundian winemaking. Pierre-Yves Colin Morey is one of the celebrated winemakers of the Côte de Beaune, and this Chardonnay from the Premier Cru vineyard En Remily in Saint Aubin impressively demonstrates why. The grapes come from old vines on calcareous soils, which give the wine its characteristic minerality. Here you will discover the terroir of Burgundy in its purest form.
In the cellar, Colin-Morey works with minimal intervention. The Pierre Yves Colin Morey En Remily 2018 matures in French barriques, only some of which are new – this keeps the fruit vibrant while the wine gains complexity and structure. Vinification follows traditional methods, with spontaneous fermentation and extended lees aging, which gives the wine its creamy texture and depth.
On the nose, a bouquet of white blossoms, ripe pears, and a delicate citrus note unfolds, accompanied by a hint of hazelnut and freshly baked brioche. On the palate, the Pierre Yves Colin Morey En Remily 2018 displays its full elegance: juicy, precise, with vibrant acidity and a saline minerality that carries every nuance. The finish is long, cool, and crystalline – a wine that lingers.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you can get this Premier Cru delivered quickly and securely. Also, explore our selection of White Wines and discover other treasures for your cellar.
Serve this Chardonnay slightly chilled at 10–12 °C. It pairs wonderfully with pan-fried turbot, scallops in butter sauce, or a creamy Comté cheese. It's also a delight on its own – pure Burgundy tradition in a glass.
