Les Cras
The Comte Liger Belair Les Cras 2013 comes from the legendary Domaine Comte Liger-Belair in Nuits-Saint-Georges, an appellation in the heart of Burgundy , renowned for its powerful, age-worthy Pinot Noirs. Les Cras is a Premier Cru vineyard with mineral-rich soils that produce Wines of tremendous structure and elegance. The estate, family-owned for generations, cultivates its vines with the utmost care and vinifies using traditional methods.
The grapes for the Comte Liger Belair Les Cras 2013 were hand-harvested and fermented in the cellar using natural yeasts. Aging took place in French oak barrels, where the wine matured for months, developing its complex personality. The result is a Pinot Noir that perfectly balances power and finesse – a wine that bears the Burgundian signature in every sip.
On the nose, a bouquet of dark cherries, wild strawberries, and delicate spice notes unfolds. On the palate, the wine is hearty and classic, with silky tannins, lively acidity, and aromas of red berries, undergrowth, and a subtle hint of smoke. The finish is long, elegant, and characterized by mineral precision—a wine that needs time to fully open up.
