The vinification follows the unique Krug philosophy: Each parcel is vinified separately in small oak barrels to preserve its individual characteristics. Only then, through masterful blending, is the final composition created – a Champagne that embodies complexity and tradition at the highest level.
On the nose, a complex bouquet unfolds, revealing aromas of candied citrus fruits, toasted brioche, honey, and delicate roasted notes. On the palate, the Krug Vintage Brut 2002 is both powerful and elegant: a creamy texture, ripe yellow fruits, hints of hazelnut and spice, supported by vibrant acidity.
