The Wild Boys of Club Batonnage 2008 is an exceptional Red Wine from Burgenland , presented in an impressive 3-liter bottle that showcases the full power and finesse of this legendary cuvée. With this creation, the winery unites Blaufränkisch, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon into a harmonious whole, characterized by craftsmanship and boldness. The large bottle guarantees optimal aging conditions and makes this wine a true collector's item.
The vinification follows traditional methods with modern precision: hand-harvesting, careful selection, and aging in selected barriques lend the 2008 Batonnage depth and complexity. Years of maturation have softened the tannins and allowed the individual grape varieties to blend into an elegant whole. The 2008 Vintage is considered particularly expressive and is now at its peak of drinkability.
On the nose, dark berry fruit, plums, and cassis unfold, accompanied by spicy notes of tobacco, cedar, and subtle toasty nuances. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet velvety, with a robust structure that is perfectly balanced. The finish is long, elegant, and characterized by a fine minerality – a wine that will linger long after you've finished tasting it.
