Clos De Beze 2020

The Joseph Drouhin Clos De Beze 2020 is an exceptional Grand Cru from Burgundy, embodying all the finesse and depth of this legendary appellation. The venerable Joseph Drouhin estate cultivates its parcels in Clos de Bèze with the utmost care, producing Wines year after year that rank among the very best in Burgundy . The 2020 Vintage is particularly concentrated and expressive.

The vinification follows the estate's principles: gentle hand-harvesting, natural fermentation in open vats, and aging in French barriques. Only a small percentage of new oak barrels are used, ensuring that the fruit and minerality of the terroir remain paramount. The Joseph Drouhin Clos De Beze 2020 thus unfolds its full complexity without any overpowering oak notes.

The nose reveals a complex bouquet of dark cherries, wild strawberries, and delicate spice notes. On the palate, the wine is robust and classic: silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and impressive depth. The finish is long, elegant, and mineral – a wine with great aging potential.
