The grapes for the Hubert Lamy Clos de la Chatenière 2007 come from the protected single vineyard Clos de la Chatenière, where limestone soils and optimal southern exposure create ideal conditions. After careful hand-harvesting, vinification took place traditionally in oak barrels, where the wine also underwent malolactic fermentation. Subsequent aging on the fine lees gave it that buttery texture which today harmonizes perfectly with its mineral freshness.
On the nose, a complex bouquet of ripe yellow fruits, roasted hazelnuts, and a hint of honey unfolds.
