Echezeaux Les Loachausses
The Anne Gros Echezeaux Les Loachausses Grand Cru 2019 is an exceptional Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy 's most prestigious vineyards . Anne Gros is among the most outstanding winemakers of the Côte d'Or, and her Wines are an expression of precision, respect for the terroir, and masterful craftsmanship. The Grand Cru vineyard Les Loachausses is located in Echezeaux and yields Wines of exceptional complexity and aging potential.
For this Anne Gros Echezeaux Les Loachausses 2019, the grapes are hand-harvested and gently processed. Vinification takes place in open wooden vats with extended maceration to achieve maximum extraction while maintaining finesse. Aging occurs in French oak barrels, with Anne Gros carefully using moderate amounts of oak to avoid masking the fruit and mineral character of the vineyard. The result is a wine of impressive density and Burgundian elegance.
On the nose, a complex bouquet unfolds, revealing aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, delicate spice notes, and a subtle hint of undergrowth and damp earth. On the palate, the 2019 Anne Gros Echezeaux Les Loachausses displays silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and profound fruit flavors accompanied by mineral nuances and floral accents. The finish is long, elegant, and lingering – a wine that impresses now but also has the potential to age for decades.
