About the manufacturer
The Viarte
La Viarte is an Italian winery dedicated to producing authentic, characterful Wines. Focusing on traditional winemaking techniques and sustainable practices, the team creates Wines that honestly reflect their origin and terroir.
The winery impresses with a simple yet effective philosophy: quality over quantity. At La Viarte, you won't find any overly elaborate Wines, but rather elegant, mineral creations that captivate with their purity and balance. The Grigio showcases classic Italian lightness with precise acidity and subtle fruit aromas – perfect for your relaxed moments. The Arteus, on the other hand, demonstrates that La Viarte also offers more profound, complex Wines that reward patience and attention during tasting.
What makes this winery special is its understated approach. Instead of following fleeting trends, La Viarte follows its own path, producing Wines that are timeless and don't lose their elegance after just a few years. This is honest craftsmanship that you can taste.
At Wine In Time you get the Wines of this fascinating brand with the expertise and care they deserve.

Pinot Grigio
The La Viarte Grigio 2021 from the La Viarte winery in the heart of the Venezia Giulia wine region showcases Pinot Grigio at its most sophisticated. In the Colli Orientali del Friuli, where cool winds meet mineral-rich soils, White Wines with depth and unmistakable terroir expression are produced. La Viarte has cultivated grape varieties that find optimal conditions here for generations – the Grigio 2021 is a prime example.
The grapes are carefully hand-harvested and gently vinified to preserve their natural freshness and minerality. No exaggerated oak notes or playful aromatics – here, the focus is on the pure terroir. Aging takes place in stainless steel, ensuring that the clear fruit and flinty structure are expressed in their purest form.
On the nose, the La Viarte Grigio 2021 greets you with green apples, pear, and a hint of citrus peel. On the palate, its true nature is revealed: crisp, fresh, with fine acidity and a pronounced minerality reminiscent of wet flint. The finish is lingering, clean, and leaves you wanting another sip – a wine that doesn't shout, but convinces.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you can conveniently order this special Pinot Grigio online and have it delivered to your home via express delivery. Discover other treasures in our White Wine selection as well.
Serve the Grigio well chilled at 8–10 degrees Celsius with white fish, grilled seafood, or a fresh goat cheese salad. A White Wine with character – ideal for those who appreciate a wine with personality.
