About the manufacturer
FX Pichler
FX Pichler is one of the Wachau's top wineries and represents Riesling of the highest caliber. With its vineyards on the steep slopes of the Danube, this Austrian winery has been producing Wines of impressive minerality and elegance for generations. Vineyards like Steinertal and Kellerberg are classics that demonstrate just how magnificent Austrian Riesling can be – powerful, precise, and with a saline minerality that instantly transports you to the Wachau.
What makes FX Pichler special is the combination of tradition and precision. The grapes are selectively harvested, and fermentation occurs spontaneously with wild yeasts – resulting in Wines of incredible depth and complexity. The characteristic FX Pichler style is dry, mineral, and age-worthy, without sacrificing elegance. You won't find overripe or over-extracted Wines here, but rather purism in the truest sense.
With 26 products in our range, you can explore the full spectrum of this winery – from classic single-vineyard Wines to experimental cuvées. At Wine In Time, you get authentic Wachau classics from a producer who has maintained unwavering standards for decades.

The FX Pichler Kellerberg Riesling 2023 is among the outstanding Wines of the Wachau region and embodies the uncompromising philosophy of one of Austria's most prestigious wineries. FX Pichler vinifies with the utmost care, giving precedence to the terroir. The Kellerberg 2023 was spontaneously fermented and aged on its fine lees, which lends it additional texture and depth. The magnum bottle encourages a slower, more harmonious development – a format equally appreciated by collectors and connoisseurs.
On the nose, the FX Pichler Kellerberg 2023 reveals notes of green apple, citrus fruits, and a pronounced flinty minerality. On the palate, it impresses with a precise structure, juicy acidity, and a salty, stony texture that lends the wine vibrancy. The finish is long, cool, and laced with a delicate herbal spice – a Riesling that deserves time and attention.
