La Corvee de Villy 2019

Thibault Liger-Belair is one of Burgundy's most distinguished winemakers, a region whose chalky soils and centuries-old vineyards allow Pinot Noir to express its unique character. Discover more about its origin in our Burgundy Wines , where terroir and tradition go hand in hand.

The La Corvée de Villy 2019 comes from a carefully cultivated, biodynamically managed plot. In the cellar, the focus is on gentle vinification with minimal intervention, whole bunches of grapes, and long, quiet aging periods in wooden barrels – thus preserving the authentic character of the vineyard and allowing the fruit to fully develop.

On the nose, the wine reveals aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, and a hint of undergrowth, underpinned by delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it impresses with a silky texture, present yet well-integrated acidity, and fruit that is clear and vibrant without being overpowering. The finish is long and mineral, with a subtle tannic structure that lends the wine character and aging potential.
