About the manufacturer
Hospices de Beaune Pierre Yves Colin Morey
The Hospices de Beaune are one of Burgundy's oldest and most legendary institutions – founded in 1443 as a hospice for the poor and still closely linked to the region. What makes the Hospices unique is their combination of history, quality, and humanitarian spirit: the exquisite vineyards have been donated to the hospital over centuries and are cultivated and vinified by renowned local winemakers such as Pierre Yves Colin Morey.
The Wines marketed under the Hospices de Beaune name arise from this unique constellation – they embody the Burgundian tradition while simultaneously benefiting from the expertise of their producers. Pierre Yves Colin Morey, as a partner of the Hospices, represents Burgundian craftsmanship: meticulous cellar techniques, respect for the terroir, and a refined sense of balance. The cuvées, such as the elegant Les Genevrières or the mineral-driven Corton Charlemagne, clearly demonstrate this philosophy.
Here you'll find Wines that are more than just drinks – they tell stories of tradition, of people, and of a piece of French cultural history. At Wine In Time, you'll discover these special bottles, selected with genuine expertise and great care.

Les Genevrieres Cuvee Philippe Le Bon
The Hospices de Beaune Les Genèvrières Cuvée Philippe Le Bon 2020 was vinified by renowned winemaker Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey and comes from the famous Hospices de Beaune auction. This Premier Cru Chardonnay from Burgundy grows in the Les Genèvrières vineyard, one of the finest Meursault parcels with stony, mineral soils that give the wine its characteristic vibrancy.
Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey vinified the grapes with the utmost care: aging in French barriques, some of them new, and matured on the fine lees. Malolactic fermentation lends the wine its buttery texture, while controlled use of oak ensures harmonious complexity. The magnum format guarantees optimal aging conditions and makes this Hospices de Beaune Les Genèvrières Cuvée Philippe Le Bon 2020 the ideal collector's item.
On the nose, a bouquet of ripe pears, roasted hazelnuts, and delicate vanilla unfolds. The palate reveals the buttery richness of the Chardonnay with notes of brioche, apricot, and a hint of honey. The mineral character from the Genèvrières limestone soils lends the wine freshness and length. The finish is persistent, creamy, and elegant – a classic Meursault with great aging potential.
At Wine In Time Vienna, you can order this exceptional White Wine online and benefit from express delivery directly to your home. Auction Wines in magnum bottles are rarities that don't remain Available for long.
Serve the Hospices de Beaune Les Genèvrières at 11–13°C with lobster in butter, braised chicken with morels, or aged cheeses. A wine for special moments that can age for years.
