FX Pichler
FX Pichler is one of the Wachau's top wineries and represents Riesling of the highest caliber. With its vineyards on the steep slopes of the Danube, this Austrian winery has been producing Wines of impressive minerality and elegance for generations. Vineyards like Steinertal and Kellerberg are classics that demonstrate just how magnificent Austrian Riesling can be – powerful, precise, and with a saline minerality that instantly transports you to the Wachau.

Loibenberg
The FX Pichler Loibenberg Riesling 2023 is one of the crown jewels of the Wachau region and embodies everything this legendary winery stands for: precision, minerality, and an unmistakable style. Franz Xaver Pichler has cultivated the steep Loibenberg vineyard for decades with unparalleled meticulousness. This terrace overlooking the Danube in Austria yields Rieslings of international caliber year after year.
The FX Pichler Loibenberg 2023 is vinified using classic methods: spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels, extended lees aging, and no fining. The result is a wine that showcases both the mineral power of the ancient soil and the finesse of the Vintage. Hand-harvesting in the vineyard and uncompromising selection are standard practice at FX Pichler – and clearly discernible in the taste.
On the nose, a bouquet of white peach, citrus blossom, and delicate stone fruit unfolds, underpinned by a cool, smoky minerality. On the palate, the Loibenberg shines with a firm structure, vibrant acidity, and impressive depth. The medium body offers nuances of apricot, grapefruit, and saline minerality. The finish is long, cool, and vibrant – a wine that will linger long after you've finished tasting it.
At Wine In Time, you can order this Wachau classic online and have it delivered quickly to your door in Vienna and the surrounding area. Also, discover our selection of White Wines, featuring other top Austrian Wines.
