What makes Lynch Bages special is the balance between tradition and modern winemaking. The winery combines classic Bordeaux elegance with a fruity, approachable side, making its Wines enjoyable even in their youth, without sacrificing aging potential. The Wines are primarily made from Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot and the classic Bordeaux varieties. The result is bottles with a deep core, velvety tannins, and that unmistakable Pauillac minerality – Wines that can delight you both now and in 20 years.

The 2020 Lynch Bages is a Grand Cru Classé from Pauillac, considered one of Bordeaux 's iconic Wines . The Lynch Bages estate combines tradition and precision on 100 hectares of prime gravel soils on the left bank of the Gironde. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc is aged in French oak barrels and displays the classic hallmarks of a great Pauillac.
The 2020 Vintage is concentrated and expressive. Vinification takes place carefully in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by up to 18 months of aging in new oak barriques. This method gives the Lynch Bages 2020 its characteristic structure and impressive aging potential.
On the nose, dark berries, cassis, and blackberry unfold, accompanied by spicy notes of cedar and fine graphite. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet elegant, with silky tannins and a deep concentration of fruit. Nuances of dark chocolate and tobacco round out the flavor profile. The finish is long, precise, and remarkably fresh.
Order this exceptional Red Wine from Wine In Time with express delivery to Vienna and throughout Austria. We guarantee expert storage and fast shipping to ensure this Grand Cru Classé arrives in perfect condition.
Ideally, enjoy the Lynch Bages 2020 at 16–18°C with beef, venison, or aged hard cheese. It is approachable now but will reach its full potential over the next 15–20 years.
