Materium 2007

The 2007 Maybach Materium is among the most exceptional Cabernet Sauvignons from Napa Valley. The Maybach winery, named after the legendary German automobile manufacturer, stands for uncompromising quality and artisanal perfection. The grapes for this wine come from prime vineyard sites in California , which boasts the ideal microclimate for Cabernet Sauvignon.

The vinification process involved meticulous care: after hand-harvesting, the wine matured in new French oak barrels, which imparted its complex structure and remarkable depth. The limited production and extended bottle aging since 2007 make this wine a true collector's item.

On the nose, the 2007 Maybach Materium unfolds an impressive array of aromas of dark berries, cassis, and blackberries, underpinned by notes of cedar, tobacco, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is powerful yet elegant, with perfectly integrated tannins and a velvety texture. The finish is exceptionally long, lingering with spicy nuances and a mineral freshness.
