About the manufacturer
Faiveley
Faiveley is a traditional winery in the heart of Burgundy, renowned for generations for its exceptional Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. Based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the estate boasts one of the most impressive portfolios of Grands and Premiers Crus in the region – from the elegant Musigny to the powerful Mazis Chambertin.
What distinguishes Faiveley is its unwavering dedication to classic Burgundy style: refined, mineral, and with great aging potential. The estate cultivates over 120 hectares of vineyards and combines traditional methods with modern expertise. Grape selection is meticulous, fermentation is natural, and aging in oak barrels is respectfully measured – never overpowering, always in service of the terroir.
Faiveley Wines are characterized by their transparency: you taste the different soils, the microclimates of the individual vineyard sites, not the winemaker's hand. They are Wines for connoisseurs who appreciate subtle nuances and understand that great Burgundy needs time to develop its full complexity.
At Wine In Time you'll find a carefully curated selection of these rarities – from classic to legendary Vintages – that will enhance your

Musigny
The Faiveley Musigny Grand Cru 2019 is one of Burgundy's rarest Wines. The venerable Faiveley estate cultivates a tiny plot in this legendary location between Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot – one of the most sought-after addresses for Burgundy Wines . On calcareous marl soils with an ideal hillside position, Pinot Noir of exceptional elegance is produced.
The vinification follows Burgundian tradition: hand-harvesting, gentle processing, and aging in French barriques with a high proportion of new barrels. The 2019 Faiveley Musigny combines the estate's classic style with the outstanding character of this Vintage – concentrated, yet never heavy, with perfect balance.
The nose reveals a bouquet of dark cherries, raspberries, and violets, underpinned by notes of spice, fine wood, and mineral nuances. On the palate, the wine displays impressive depth and a silky texture, supported by finely structured tannins. The finish is remarkably long, elegant, and complex.
