About the manufacturer
Benjamin Leroux
Benjamin Leroux is a renowned Burgundy winemaker whose Wines redefine the region's classic potential. With vineyards in the finest locations from Gevrey-Chambertin to Nuits-Saint-Georges, Leroux creates Pinot Noirs that perfectly balance elegance and power. His philosophy is based on minimalist winemaking and the utmost respect for the grapes – the terroir should speak, not the winemaker.
Benjamin Leroux's Wines are characterized by their finesse: you'll find intense, yet never over-extracted aromas, silky tannins, and that iconic minerality that underlies great Burgundies. His access to Premier Cru parcels like Les Caillerets and Rugiens Hauts is particularly noteworthy – vineyards that, in his hands, reveal their full complexity.
What also distinguishes Leroux is his sustainable approach: he experiments intelligently with new methods while remaining rooted in tradition. His Grand Crus, such as Échezeaux, demonstrate that he possesses not only the finesse but also the depth that great Burgundies require.
At Wine In Time you gain access to these exceptional Wines that authentically capture the soul of Burgundy – perfect for those who appreciate serious, elegant structure.

Saint George Nights
The Benjamin Leroux Nuits Saint Georges 2023 is a Pinot Noir that embodies all the finesse of Burgundian craftsmanship. Benjamin Leroux is one of the most sought-after winemakers of the Côte de Nuits, combining tradition with uncompromising precision. His Burgundy Wines are made from carefully selected grapes that reflect the terroir of Nuits Saint Georges with its mineral depth and structure.
The vinification process is classic: hand-harvesting, gentle maceration, and aging in French oak barrels with a moderate proportion of new wood. This results in a wine that maintains a perfect balance of fruit and spice without being dominated by oak. Benjamin Leroux prioritizes elegance over opulence – an approach that is impressively evident in the glass.
On the nose, the Benjamin Leroux Nuits Saint Georges 2023 reveals dark cherries, blackberries, and delicate spice notes of clove and pepper. On the palate, it is dense and juicy, with silky tannins and vibrant acidity that lends freshness and structure. The finish is long, mineral, and subtly spicy – a wine that is already enjoyable but also shows potential for the coming years.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you can conveniently order this Red Wine online and benefit from express delivery directly to your home. Whether for special occasions or sophisticated everyday enjoyment – this Pinot Noir from Nuits Saint Georges is always a good choice.
Serve it at 16–18 °C with braised beef, duck breast, or aged cheese. It also pairs wonderfully with mushroom dishes and game-infused sauces.
