About the manufacturer
Dugat Py Bernard
Dugat Py Bernard is a small, exquisite winery from Gevrey-Chambertin in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, known for its purist Pinot Noirs. Bernard Dugat-Py cultivates his vineyards according to biodynamic principles, relying on minimal intervention in the cellar – an approach that lends his Wines impressive authenticity.
What sets this winery apart is its unconventional approach to winemaking: the grapes are fermented whole with the stems, and the Wines are aged for extended periods in oak barrels without becoming heavy or over-extracted. The result is Pinot Noirs with a fine texture, elegant structure, and great complexity – exactly what true Burgundy lovers are looking for.
In our selection, you'll find classics like Mazis Chambertin and Gevrey Chambertin Les Evocelles, as well as exciting smaller single-vineyard Wines like Petite Chapelle. Each bottle tells a story of terroir and meticulous craftsmanship. Dugat Py Bernard's Wines aren't for the masses, but rather for those who appreciate depth and individuality in the glass. At Wine In Time, you'll find these exceptional Burgundies with expert advice and a carefully curated selection.

Petite Chapelle
The Dugat Py Bernard Petite Chapelle 2019 is a Premier Cru Pinot Noir from the heart of Burgundy, vinified by a winery that combines tradition and precision. Burgundy Wines are among the most elegant Red Wines in the world – and this Premier Cru impressively demonstrates why. Bernard Dugat-Py cultivates his plots with the utmost respect for terroir and Vintage, harvests by hand, and vinifies without unnecessary frills: traditional maceration, natural yeasts, and aging in French oak barrels.
The nose opens with aromas of dark cherries, fine undergrowth, and a hint of clove. On the palate, the 2019 Dugat Py Bernard Petite Chapelle is robust, classically structured, and silky smooth. Ripe tannins support the fruit without overpowering it. The finish is long, mineral, and characterized by fine acidity – a wine that rewards patience and will develop over the years.
At Wine In Time, you can conveniently order this Premier Cru online and receive it with express delivery to Vienna and throughout Austria. Discover our selection of Red Wines for other rare Vintages from France and around the world.
Serve the wine slightly chilled at 16–18 degrees Celsius with duck, goose, or game birds. A Burgundian classic that will impress you with its finesse and depth.
