About the manufacturer
Ruinart
Ruinart is the oldest champagne house in the world and looks back on a fascinating history that began in Reims in 1729. To this day, the house operates according to principles that prioritize elegance and finesse – not opulence or excess.
What makes Ruinart special is its unwavering focus on Chardonnay. With their Blanc de Blancs Champagnes, you'll create true classics: mineral, finely structured, and with an impressive freshness that remains captivating even after years. Dom Ruinart, the house's prestige cuvée, demonstrates what's possible when tradition meets modern winemaking – complex, multifaceted, and exceptionally age-worthy.
The rosé varieties also impress with their delicate color and balanced flavor profile. Ruinart proves that great champagne doesn't have to be loud, but can captivate through elegance and character.
At Wine In Time you will find a carefully selected range of the best Ruinart champagnes – for explorers who value authentic quality and history.

Behind the R de Ruinart stands the House of Ruinart, whose champagnes are produced in the Champagne region of France. The designation NV indicates that it is a non-Vintage champagne, meaning it is a blend not tied to a single harvest year. In the 1,5-liter magnum format, the bottle becomes a real eye-catcher on the table.
The R de Ruinart is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, three grape varieties that define the classic Champagne style. Chardonnay typically stands for freshness and elegance, Pinot Noir for structure and richness, and Pinot Meunier for fruitiness and roundness. This combination forms the basis for a sparkling wine that is characterized more by balance than by volume.
According to the description, the R de Ruinart presents itself as complex and traditional , with a dry sweetness. At 12,5% alcohol, it remains clear and elegant, making it a versatile wine. Serve it well chilled in sufficiently large glasses to allow the bouquet to fully develop. Enjoyment in moderation is key.
The R de Ruinart pairs particularly well with shellfish, crab, and lobster , whose delicate sweetness and subtle texture are beautifully complemented by the champagne's dryness and structure. If you'd like to buy a magnum of Ruinart R de Ruinart, order conveniently from Wine In Time. With express delivery in Vienna, your bottle will arrive quickly and ready for your evening.
