About the manufacturer
FX Pichler
FX Pichler is one of the Wachau's top wineries and represents Riesling of the highest caliber. With its vineyards on the steep slopes of the Danube, this Austrian winery has been producing Wines of impressive minerality and elegance for generations. Vineyards like Steinertal and Kellerberg are classics that demonstrate just how magnificent Austrian Riesling can be – powerful, precise, and with a saline minerality that instantly transports you to the Wachau.
What makes FX Pichler special is the combination of tradition and precision. The grapes are selectively harvested, and fermentation occurs spontaneously with wild yeasts – resulting in Wines of incredible depth and complexity. The characteristic FX Pichler style is dry, mineral, and age-worthy, without sacrificing elegance. You won't find overripe or over-extracted Wines here, but rather purism in the truest sense.

Ried Kellerberg
The FX Pichler Ried Kellerberg 2024 is a Riesling that embodies all the finesse of the Wachau region. The FX Pichler winery is among the absolute legends of this tradition-steeped region in Lower Austria – and the Ried Kellerberg is one of its most prestigious vineyard sites. Here, the vines grow on ancient gneiss soils, which impart the wine with its characteristic minerality. These Austrian Wines are among the best in the world.
FX Pichler works with meticulous precision in the vineyard and the cellar. The grapes are hand-harvested and only picked when perfectly ripe. In the cellar, Lucas Pichler relies on long maceration times and spontaneous fermentation in large wooden barrels. The FX Pichler Ried Kellerberg 2024 matures for months on its fine lees, which gives it structure and depth. This wine needs no fining – it is naturally clear and expressive.
On the nose, the Kellerberg 2024 displays cool precision: yellow fruit, stone fruit, a hint of citrus peel, and mineral notes. On the palate, it unfolds with impressive density, supported by fine acidity and stony minerality. The finish is long, saline, and incredibly fresh – a wine that takes its time and invites reflection.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you can have the FX Pichler Ried Kellerberg 2024 delivered quickly and easily to your home. Our focus is on quality, passion, and first-class service.
