About the manufacturer
Circle
Krug is one of the world's most legendary Champagne houses, representing the pinnacle of craftsmanship in Champagne since 1843. Based in Reims, the house adheres to a distinctive philosophy: each Champagne is a work of art, meticulously blended from hundreds of Wines. This art of cuvée is at the heart of Krug's identity, making each Vintage truly special.
The Grande Cuvée is Krug's classic – a finely tuned blend of different Vintages and vineyards, offering consistent elegance and complexity. The limited Vintages, on the other hand, showcase the potential of exceptional Champagne years and develop beautifully in the cellar.
What truly sets Krug apart is its attention to detail: long maturation periods, traditional fermentation in small wooden barrels, minimal dosage – all of which requires time and patience. The result is champagne with depth, mineral freshness, and delicate notes that linger on the palate.
At Wine In Time you will find a carefully selected range of Krug champagnes, from the tried and tested Grande Cuvée to rare Vintage bottles – something for every special moment.

The Krug Rosé 26th Edition is a masterpiece from the venerable Krug Champagne house, which has set the highest standards in Champagne for generations . This cuvée unites Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier in a harmonious symbiosis that reveals elegance and depth in every sip. Krug vinifies exclusively in small oak barrels and deliberately forgoes malolactic fermentation to preserve the pure freshness and complexity of the grapes. The Rosé Edition is created through the artful blending of over 120 different Wines from several Vintages, complemented by carefully selected still Wines made from Pinot Noir, which lend the cuvée its characteristic color and structure.
On the nose, an enchanting bouquet of red berries – strawberry, raspberry, and red currant – unfolds, accompanied by floral notes and a hint of brioche. On the palate, the champagne reveals its creamy side: a velvety texture, fine bubbles, and a balance between fruity freshness and subtle spice. The finish is long and elegant, leaving notes of citrus and toasted almonds.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you can conveniently order this exceptional champagne online and have it delivered directly to your home via express delivery. Discover our exclusive selection of sparkling Wines, including other rare finds for connoisseurs.
Serve the Krug Rose 26th Edition well chilled at 8–10 degrees Celsius. It is the ideal accompaniment to meaty and oily fish such as grilled salmon, tuna tartare, or pan-fried turbot. It also unfolds its full potential when paired with a delicate terrine or creamy goat cheese.
