About the manufacturer
Harlan Estate
Harlan Estate is a legendary winery in Oakville, Napa Valley, known for producing exceptional Wines since 1984. Bill Harlan has created one of America's finest Bordeaux blends here – a wine culture that understands perfection not as a goal, but as the standard.
What makes Harlan Estate special is its unwavering philosophy of quality over quantity. Every drop is crafted from a careful selection of the finest grapes, followed by traditional winemaking methods using state-of-the-art equipment. The Wines are primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and other noble varieties. The result: concentrated, elegantly structuRed Wines with impressive aging potential.
The distinctive style blends Californian fruitiness with classic European elegance and balance. You won't find overripe, high-alcohol blockbusters here, but rather Wines that exude complex aromas, fine tannins, and a saline minerality. Vintages from Harlan Estate are among the most sought-after Wines in the world – and for good reason.

Harlan Estate, The Mascot
Harlan Estate is one of the most influential names in Napa Valley, that corner of California which has been competing with the world's great wine regions for decades. The Mascot was created as the estate's second voice – a blend made from younger vines and select parcels from the family wineries Harlan Estate, BOND, and Promontory. Those who appreciate California Wines will find here a benchmark with both history and ambition.
The 2021 Vintage unites Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc into a dense, well-balanced blend. Careful selection in the vineyard and cellar, targeted aging in French oak, and the winemaking team's signature style ensure structure without overshadowing the fruit. The result is a Red Wine that combines the power of Napa Valley with elegance.
On the nose, The Mascot 2021 reveals dark berry fruit, a touch of cassis, spicy notes of graphite, and a hint of vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate, it unfolds a full, velvety body with ripe tannins, juicy fruit, and a fine mineral depth. The finish is long, warm, and carried by a pleasant spiciness that lingers long after the last sip.
