Copenhagen Sparkling Tea is a refreshing drink made from organic teas. It has fine bubbles like champagne – but little or no alcohol.
The drink was invented in Denmark. The founders are Jacob Kocemba, a sommelier, and Bo Sten Hansen, an entrepreneur. Since 2017, Sparkling Tea has been popular in many top restaurants worldwide.
How is sparkling tea made?
Sparkling Tea is made by blending up to 13 different teas, including white, green, oolong, and black teas. These teas are carefully brewed at precisely the right temperatures to fully develop their aroma.
Then the teas are blended and carbon dioxide is added to make the drink sparkling. Some varieties contain no alcohol, others only 5%. The result is a delicious, elegant drink with plenty of flavor.
What varieties are there?
