About the manufacturer
Roberto Voerzio
Roberto Voerzio is one of Piedmont's finest Barolo producers, renowned for exceptional quality from the La Morra wine region. For decades, the winery has relied on traditional methods combined with a modern understanding of viticulture – resulting in complex, elegant Barolos with profound character.
What makes Voerzio special: The winery focuses on small, carefully selected parcels in the heart of the Barolo region. The Wines are made from old Nebbiolo vines, vinified with great respect for the terroir, and aged in traditional large wooden casks. This results in Wines with structure, elegance, and impressive aging potential – not the over-extracted, modern Barolos, but authentic classics.
The Riserva RV350, which you'll find in our selection, is a prime example: concentrated, complex, and with that velvety tannin structure that characterizes true Barolo. The single-vineyard Barolos, such as Pozzo dell'Annunziata, also demonstrate just how diverse and multifaceted the Wines of this estate can be.
If you're looking for genuine, classic Barolo Wines that deserve time and patience, you'll find them here – and more.

Barolo del Comune di La Morra
The Roberto Voerzio Barolo del Comune di La Morra 2019 comes from the heart of Piedmont and combines all the refinement of a classic Barolo with the personal touch of a legendary winemaker. Roberto Voerzio is one of the region's most uncompromising perfectionists – his Wines are produced with the utmost care and minimal yields.
The grapes for this Barolo grow on the calcareous soils surrounding La Morra, one of the most elegant vineyards in the Barolo region. After careful hand-harvesting, the wine is traditionally aged in large wooden casks, which gives it structure without masking its delicate aromas. The 2019 Vintage is concentrated, yet never heavy – a balancing act mastered by only a few.
On the nose, aromas of dark cherry, dried roses, and a delicate herbal spice unfold. On the palate, the Roberto Voerzio Barolo del Comune di La Morra 2019 impresses with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a flavor profile of red berries, tobacco, and a hint of licorice. The finish is long, clean, and characterized by a savory elegance.
At Wine In Time you'll find this exceptional Red Wine and can have it conveniently delivered to Vienna – with express delivery if you need it quickly. Order this classic for special moments.
Enjoy it best at 18 degrees Celsius with braised lamb, beef ragout, or aged hard cheese. A wine that deserves time – and takes it.
