Clos du Verseuil
The Yvon Clerget Clos du Verseuil 2022 is a Premier Cru from the heart of Burgundy, showcasing the power of classic craftsmanship and exceptional terroir. Domaine Yvon Clerget cultivates its Burgundy vineyards with meticulous care, allowing its Pinot Noir to speak for itself – without unnecessary embellishment, but with undeniable character.
Clos du Verseuil comes from old vines that root deep in the calcareous soil. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented using traditional methods before the wine matures in French oak barrels. This respectful vinification preserves the authenticity of the terroir and brings out Burgundian finesse.
On the nose, a bouquet of dark cherries, forest floor, and delicate spice notes unfolds. On the palate, the wine is robust and classic: silky tannins, lively acidity, and a spicy depth supported by a mineral freshness. The finish is long and elegant, leaving a lasting impression with ripe fruit aromas and a hint of oak.
At Wine In Time, you can conveniently order this exceptional Red Wine online and rely on fast express delivery to Vienna and throughout Austria. We bring Burgundian wine culture directly to your home.
Serve the Yvon Clerget Clos du Verseuil slightly chilled at 16–18 °C with hearty dishes such as roast duck, goose, or game birds. It is a perfect accompaniment to classic autumn and winter cuisine – and for all Burgundy lovers.
