Chardonnay
The Cloudy Bay Chardonnay 2023 comes from one of New Zealand's most iconic wineries. Cloudy Bay has put Marlborough on the world wine map – not only with Sauvignon Blanc, but also with this fine, complex Chardonnay. The grapes grow on carefully selected plots, where a cool maritime climate and poor soils ensure concentration and elegance.
The vinification of the Cloudy Bay Chardonnay 2023 is carried out with meticulous care: hand-harvesting, wild yeasts, partial barrel fermentation in French oak, and malolactic fermentation lend it complexity without heaviness. Part of the wine matures sur lie, which imparts a creamy texture and depth. The result is a Chardonnay of remarkable balance – powerful, but never intrusive.
The nose reveals aromas of white peaches, lemon blossom, and a hint of roasted hazelnuts. On the palate, ripe stone fruit unfolds, interwoven with lively acidity and mineral freshness. Subtle oak notes integrate harmoniously, and the finish is long, elegant, and marked by a cool, saline note.
Order the Cloudy Bay Chardonnay 2023 securely online at Wine In Time – with express delivery to Vienna and throughout Austria. Discover our selection of White Wines for other top international Wines.
