The 1996 Cheval Blanc comes from the eponymous Château in Saint-Émilion, one of the most prestigious estates in Bordeaux . As a Premier Grand Cru Classé A, this Vintage embodies everything Bordeaux lovers appreciate: complexity, structure, and impressive aging potential. The blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon was vinified with the utmost care and has developed a fascinating maturity over the years.
The wine was produced using traditional methods, with hand-harvesting and selective choice of the best grapes. On the nose, an elegant bouquet of dark fruits, cedar, tobacco, and subtle spice notes unfolds. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet silky, with perfectly integrated tannins and remarkable balance. Notes of blackcurrant, graphite, and truffle develop in multiple layers. The finish is long, refined, and impressively precise – a wine that demonstrates its class with every sip.
