Clos de Vougeot 2020

The Meo Camuzet Clos de Vougeot 2020 is one of Burgundy 's iconic Grand Crus . The Meo Camuzet estate cultivates a historic plot in Clos de Vougeot, whose soils have produced the finest Pinot Noir grapes for centuries. The estate's philosophy combines respect for tradition with precise modern cellar techniques – the result is a wine of exceptional purity and expressiveness.

Vinification takes place with spontaneous fermentation and extended skin contact, followed by 18 months of aging in French oak barrels. The Meo Camuzet Clos de Vougeot 2020 displays the typical balance between power and finesse that makes this Grand Cru so desirable. Each bottle bears the signature of an exceptional Vintage and a vineyard that ranks among the most prestigious in the world.

On the nose, a complex bouquet of dark cherries, blackberries, and delicate spice notes unfolds. Underlying these are hints of forest floor, damp leaves, and a subtle toasty note. On the palate, the wine impresses with a silky texture, precise fruit, and fine-grained tannins that provide structure without being overpowering. The finish is long, elegant, and imbued with a mineral freshness that invites another sip.
