Clos du Verseuil
The Domaine Yvon Clerget Clos du Verseuil 2023 is an exceptional Premier Cru Pinot Noir from the heart of Burgundy . Domaine Yvon Clerget is among the region's most respected producers, cultivating its vineyards with great respect for terroir and tradition. Clos du Verseuil is a protected single vineyard site, whose calcareous soils impart a distinctive minerality and finesse to the Pinot Noir.
The grapes for this wine are harvested by hand and gently processed in the cellar. After controlled fermentation, the wine matures in French oak barrels, where the wood is subtly integrated and does not overpower the fruit. This classic vinification preserves the purity of the variety and allows the terroir to shine through.
On the nose, the Domaine Yvon Clerget Clos du Verseuil 2023 displays ripe cherry, wild strawberry, and delicate spice notes of clove and cinnamon. On the palate, it unfolds a silky texture with vibrant acidity and elegantly integrated tannins. The finish is long and precise, with hints of undergrowth and dark fruit.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you'll find this Premier Cru and many other rare Red Wines in our selection . We deliver quickly and reliably – so you can enjoy this special wine soon.
Serve it at 16–18 °C with braised game birds, duck breast with mushrooms, or aged Comté cheese. A wine that deserves time and attention.
