Cuvee Rose NV

Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé is an icon among rosé Champagnes and comes from the venerable Maison Laurent-Perrier in Champagne . Since its creation in 1968, it has stood for a distinctive style that clearly sets it apart from the competition: instead of simply blending red and White Wines, the Pinot Noir grapes for Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé are macerated – fermented on the skins – which gives it its intense salmon-pink color and powerful character.

This vinification method, usually employed for Red Wines, brings structure and depth to the glass. The cuvée consists predominantly of Pinot Noir, complemented by Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, and matures on the lees for several years. The result is a Champagne with a distinctive personality: not delicate floral romanticism, but precise fruit concentration.

On the nose, ripe red berries – raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant – unfold, accompanied by delicate floral notes and a hint of brioche. On the palate, the Laurent Perrier Cuvée Rosé is fresh, structured, and juicy: the fruit is present but never jammy, the acidity provides vibrancy, and the fine bubbles caress the tongue. The finish is long, elegant, and slightly spicy.

Serve the Cuvée Rosé well chilled at 6–8 °C. It harmonizes wonderfully with raw fish, sushi, salmon tartare or light poultry – but it is also a delight on its own, as an aperitif or to accompany a special moment.
