The Penfolds Grange 2018 is far more than a wine – it's an Australian legend. For over 70 years, Grange has stood for excellence and is among the most sought-after Red Wines in the world. The Penfolds winery, located in South Australia , has created a Shiraz of monumental complexity and timeless character.
The grapes for the 2018 Penfolds Grange come from the finest vineyards in South Australia, including the legendary Barossa Valley. After hand-harvesting, the Wines mature for 18 months in new American oak barrels – a signature process that lends the Grange its characteristic spice and depth. The blend from different parcels creates a harmonious whole of exceptional balance.
On the nose, a complex bouquet of blackcurrants, blackberries, and plums unfolds, accompanied by dark chocolate, cloves, and a hint of eucalyptus. On the palate, the 2018 Penfolds Grange is powerful yet elegant: velvety tannins carry layers of ripe fruit, vanilla, mocha, and subtle toasty notes. The finish is long, multifaceted, and impressively persistent—a wine that will age for decades to come.
