About the manufacturer
Romanee Conti
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the most legendary winery in the world – and rightly so. In Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of Burgundy, this institution cultivates just 1,8 hectares of some of France's most prized vineyards. Here, Wines are produced that set standards and melt the hearts of collectors.
What makes DRC so extraordinary? Its unwavering philosophy of perfection. Every grape is treated with almost obsessive care, and each Vintage reflects the terroir with absolute authenticity. The Wines – whether the velvety Pinot Noirs like Romanée-Conti or La Tâche, or the mineral White Wines like Le Montrachet – combine elegance, complexity, and an almost meditative depth.
DRC has been cultivating its vineyards biodynamically since 1947, long before it became fashionable. This isn't a marketing strategy, but a lived conviction. You can taste the dedication, the tradition, and the uncompromising standards in every sip.
At Wine In Time you will find a carefully selected range of these precious Wines – your access to the greatest Burgundy classics.

The 2004 Romanée-Conti La Tâche is among the most sublime Wines from legendary Burgundy. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti cultivates this Grand Cru single vineyard in Vosne-Romanée with a dedication that is unparalleled worldwide. La Tâche, encompassing six hectares, embodies everything that defines great Pinot Noir: precise provenance, uncompromising handcraftsmanship, and biodynamic viticulture.
The 2004 Vintage is considered classically elegant, characterized by cool nights and sunny autumn days. The grapes were hand-selected, gently fermented, and aged in French oak barrels. The result is a wine of crystalline clarity that will continue to develop over decades.
On the nose, aromas of dark cherries, wild strawberries, rose petals, and a hint of truffle unfold. The palate reveals a silky richness, supported by fine-grained tannins and vibrant freshness. The finish is long and precise, with notes of spice and damp earth – a wine that transports you to another dimension.
