About the manufacturer
Roulot
Roulot is a traditional winery from Meursault in the heart of Burgundy, renowned for generations for its elegant and meticulously crafted White Wines. The Roulot family follows a classic, terroir-focused philosophy, reflecting the distinctive soils and microclimate of their vineyards in every bottle.
The winery impresses with exceptional craftsmanship: gentle hand-harvesting, natural fermentation, and a slow maturation process result in Wines that exude both power and finesse. The Meursault Wines, in particular, showcase the mineral complexity and buttery-nutty notes for which this appellation is world-renowned. But the purer Bourgogne Blancs and the concentrated single-vineyard Wines like Vireuils and Les Luchets also demonstrate the winery's ambitious approach – from simple to grand Wines, each one thoughtfully crafted and balanced.
What sets Roulot apart is the balance between tradition and refinement: the Wines are not contrived, but authentic. They develop beautifully in the bottle and reward patience. If you're looking for genuine, unadulterated Burgundies that speak of their origin, you'll find them at Roulot – and at Wine In.

The 2022 Roulot Meursault from Domaine Roulot is among the most legendary Chardonnays from Burgundy . Jean-Marc Roulot is known as a perfectionist, and his Wines from Meursault are in demand worldwide – characterized by precision, depth, and a distinctive balance between minerality and fruit. This 2022 Vintage demonstrates once again why the winery belongs to the absolute elite of the region.
The grapes come from various parcels around Meursault and are vinified with the utmost care. After harvesting, fermentation takes place in used barriques, where the wine also matures for approximately twelve months. Roulot relies on minimal intervention, native yeasts, and forgoes fining or filtration. The result is a Chardonnay of purist elegance and absolute authenticity.
On the nose, the 2022 Roulot Meursault unfolds aromas of white blossoms, fresh hazelnut, and delicate citrus fruit, underpinned by mineral notes and subtle brioche. On the palate, it impresses with a creamy texture, precise acidity, and a deep, multi-layered structure. The finish is long, saline, and characterized by subtle complexity—a wine that challenges and rewards you in equal measure.
At Wine In Time, you can order this exceptional White Wine online and have it conveniently delivered to Vienna and throughout Austria. We offer fast shipping and access to rare Wines that are otherwise hard to find.
Serve the Roulot Meursault 2022 at around 11–13 degrees Celsius with grilled turbot, scallops, creamy risottos, or simply on its own to fully appreciate its finesse. A wine for special moments.
