The Antoine Jobard Meursault Genèvrières 2013 is an exceptional Premier Cru Chardonnay from one of the most prestigious vineyards in the heart of Burgundy The Jobard winery is considered a quiet legend among Meursault producers – precise manual labor, minimal intervention and strict yield reduction characterize the work in the winery and vineyard.

The grapes come from the Premier Cru vineyard Genèvrières, known for its chalky soil and its ability to produce Wines of exceptional elegance and longevity. Aging is carried out classically in Burgundy barrels, with Antoine Jobard using only about 15 percent new barriques – thus preserving the focus on terroir and fruit without being overpowered by the oak.

On the nose, a fascinating complexity unfolds: ripe mirabelle plum, roasted hazelnut, a hint of beeswax, and delicate buttery notes. On the palate, the wine is creamy and dense, with a vibrant acidity that lends structure to its opulent character. Mineral notes reminiscent of wet stones are accompanied by citrus fruits and a touch of vanilla. The finish is long, saline, and precise.
