About the manufacturer
Roberto Voerzio
Roberto Voerzio is one of Piedmont's finest Barolo producers, renowned for exceptional quality from the La Morra wine region. For decades, the winery has relied on traditional methods combined with a modern understanding of viticulture – resulting in complex, elegant Barolos with profound character.
What makes Voerzio special: The winery focuses on small, carefully selected parcels in the heart of the Barolo region. The Wines are made from old Nebbiolo vines, vinified with great respect for the terroir, and aged in traditional large wooden casks. This results in Wines with structure, elegance, and impressive aging potential – not the over-extracted, modern Barolos, but authentic classics.
The Riserva RV350, which you'll find in our selection, is a prime example: concentrated, complex, and with that velvety tannin structure that characterizes true Barolo. The single-vineyard Barolos, such as Pozzo dell'Annunziata, also demonstrate just how diverse and multifaceted the Wines of this estate can be.
If you're looking for genuine, classic Barolo Wines that deserve time and patience, you'll find them here – and more.

The Roberto Voerzio Pozzo dell'Annunziata 2017 Magnum is an exceptional Barbera from one of Piedmont 's most prestigious vineyards . Roberto Voerzio is considered a perfectionist and a pioneer of modern winemaking in La Morra. His uncompromising work in the vineyard and cellar makes every wine a statement of the highest quality.
The grapes for the Roberto Voerzio Pozzo dell'Annunziata 2017 come from the single vineyard of the same name, known for its calcareous soils and optimal southern exposure. After careful hand-harvesting, the wine matures in French oak barrels, where it develops structure and complexity. The magnum bottle guarantees even better aging conditions and a slower evolution.
The nose reveals intense dark fruit aromas – black cherry, cassis, and blackberry – accompanied by notes of delicate spices, graphite, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, the Barbera is powerful yet elegant: firm tannins, vibrant acidity, and impressive depth. The finish is long, mineral, and reminiscent of the cool mists of Piedmont.
At Wine In Time, you can get this exceptional wine with express delivery to Vienna and all of Austria. Also discover our selection of Red Wines, featuring other rare finds from Italy and around the world.
