Clos de Vougeot 2020

The Meo Camuzet Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2020 is an exceptional Pinot Noir from the heart of Burgundy . The Meo Camuzet estate cultivates one of the most sought-after parcels within the historic Clos de Vougeot vineyard, producing world-class Wines. The grapes come from old vines that thrive in the mineral-rich soils of the Côte de Nuits, giving the wine its distinctive character.

The vinification follows traditional Burgundian methods: spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts, gentle extraction, and aging in French oak barrels with a high proportion of new wood. This respectful treatment allows the personality of the terroir to shine through in its purest form. The Meo Camuzet Clos de Vougeot 2020 combines power with finesse and impressively demonstrates why this vineyard has been among the most legendary in the wine world for centuries.

On the nose, a complex bouquet of dark cherries, wild berries, and delicate spice notes unfolds. Subtle hints of undergrowth, truffle, and violets combine to create an elegant aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is dense and concentrated, with silky tannins and vibrant freshness. Black cherry, blackberry, and plum jam mingle with earthy nuances and mineral precision. The finish is remarkably long and lingers with a subtle spiciness.
