About the manufacturer
Tement
Tement is one of the leading wineries in Southern Styria and has established itself internationally as a specialist for exceptional Sauvignon Blancs and complex White Wines. Located on the hills around Glanz, the winery operates according to strict organic principles and relies on minimal intervention in the cellar – a fact you can taste in every glass.
What makes Tement special is its intensive engagement with the terroir. The focus on specific vineyard sites like Zieregg produces mineral-driven, precise Wines that reflect the unique character of the Styrian soil. These Wines are distinguished by their elegance, depth, and remarkable aging potential – they are anything but simple summer drinks.
What truly distinguishes Tement Wines is the balance between fruit, acidity, and minerality. You won't find overripe or overpowering Wines here, but rather thoughtfully crafted, classically oriented Wines that impress immediately and gain even more complexity over time.
At Wine In Time you get authentic Temente Wines directly from one of Austria's best wineries – without any detours, with expert advice and the assurance of getting truly good quality.

Buying the Tement Riedenkiste (vineyard box) means experiencing six interpretations of a single grape variety. Armin Tement, one of the pioneers of Southern Styria, has created a tribute to Pinot Blanc with this collection. Each of the six bottles comes from a different single vineyard – and that's precisely what makes this box so special. You're not just getting wine, but a journey through the Wines of Styria , through soils, microclimates, and philosophies.
Tement consciously avoids excessive use of oak. Instead, the focus is on spontaneous fermentation, extended lees aging, and precise hand-harvesting. The grapes are carefully selected, gently pressed, and aged in stainless steel or large wooden barrels. This ensures that the fruit remains vibrant, the minerality clear, and the unique character of each vineyard site recognizable.
On the nose, you'll find green notes – unripe pear, lemon balm, and sometimes hints of smoky flint. On the palate, depending on the vineyard site, you'll find Wines with varying degrees of richness and drive. What all six Wines share is their vibrant acidity, their salinity, and their long, precise finish. These aren't Wines that shout – they whisper, and you listen closely.
At Wine In Time, you can get the Tement Riedenkiste delivered quickly and securely to Vienna. Browse our selection of White Wines and discover other Styrian treasures. Order this case if you're looking for comparison, depth, and a taste of terroir.
Serve the Wines at 10–12 degrees with fried char, asparagus risotto or simply on their own – for studying, marveling, enjoying.
