About the manufacturer
Gobelsburg Castle
Gobelsburg Castle is one of the most traditional and innovative wineries in the Wachau region of Lower Austria. Since its acquisition by the Pgoldschmidt family in 1996, the castle has become a pioneer of high-quality Grüner Veltliner – with impressive consistency.
The winery strives for a perfect balance between respecting the terroir and modern winemaking. Here you'll find Wines that exude the characteristic minerality and elegance of the Wachau without succumbing to nostalgia. The Heiligenstein, for example, is among the finest interpretations of this legendary Wachau vineyard – spicy, complex, and with a tension that lasts for years. The Lamm also showcases the quality of this estate: fresh, concentrated, and vibrant.
What makes Schloss Gobelsburg so special is its uncompromising commitment to quality. Grape selection is rigorous, vineyard work is consistently sustainable, and winemaking follows clear principles rather than trends. The result is authentic Wines with character and depth.
At Wine In Time you will find a curated selection of these excellent Wines – directly from one of Austria's best wineries.
