About the manufacturer
Littorai
Littorai is a Californian winery specializing in the production of high-quality Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. The name comes from Latin and means "coastline"—a reference to the maritime terroirs of California's coastal regions that the winery utilizes.
What makes Littorai special is its uncompromising focus on single-vineyard Wines. Instead of mass production, the winery relies on intensive collaboration with select vineyards such as Hirsch Vineyard or Charles Heintz Vineyard. These partnerships allow them to authentically express the unique characteristics of each site.
The winemaker behind Littorai follows a purist approach: minimal intervention in the cellar, natural fermentation, and respectful treatment of the raw materials. The result is Wines of impressive elegance, complexity, and aging potential. In every glass, you can recognize the terroir's signature and the meticulous craftsmanship.
At Wine In Time you will find a carefully curated selection of Littorai Wines that will transport you to the fascinating world of Californian coastal terroirs.

The Return
The Littorai The Return 2021 is Ted Lemon's homage to the roots of Californian Pinot Noir. On the windswept Sonoma Coast , Wines are created that combine Burgundian elegance with Pacific coastal character – cool, precise, vibrant.
Ted Lemon, the first American to graduate from Dijon, brings European craftsmanship to California. The Return unites grapes from several parcels into an ensemble of finesse and depth. Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts and careful aging in French barriques—only 20% new—preserve the cool fruit clarity and mineral structure.
On the nose, red cherries, cranberries, rose petals, a hint of forest floor and clove. On the palate, silky and precise, with vibrant acidity that supports the fruit. Fine tannins, salty minerality, a long, lingering finish – cool, elegant, never heavy.
Order this exceptional Pinot Noir from Wine In Time with express delivery to Vienna and all of Austria. Also discover our selection of Red Wines, including other rare Californian Vintages.
Serve the Littorai The Return 2021 slightly chilled at 14–16°C with duck breast with cherry glaze, grilled salmon, or aromatic mushroom dishes. A wine for moments when you want to rediscover the essence of Pinot Noir.
