Vosne Romanee
The Duroche Vosne Romanée 2017 comes from one of Burgundy 's most renowned appellations and showcases what Pinot Noir at its finest is all about. The Duroche estate cultivates its vineyards with meticulous care, prioritizing low yields to capture the essence of the terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently destemmed, and vinified in small oak barrels. Aging takes place over 16 months in French oak, using only a moderate proportion of new wood – this allows the fruit to remain prominent while subtly supporting the wine's structure.
On the nose, this Vosne Romanée reveals seductive aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, and a hint of violets. These are complemented by spicy notes of clove, cinnamon, and a subtle touch of undergrowth. On the palate, the 2017 Duroche Vosne Romanée unfolds its full elegance: silky, dense, with perfectly integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity that lends the wine freshness and tension. The finish is long, cool, and characterized by a Burgundian minerality that lingers long after the last sip.
At Wine In Time, you can have this exceptional Pinot Noir delivered quickly and securely to Vienna. Discover our selection of Red Wines, featuring other rare Vintages from around the world. This wine is a valuable addition to any cellar or collection.
Serve Vosne Romanée slightly chilled at 16–18 degrees Celsius with duck, goose, or game birds. It also pairs wonderfully with fine beef, mushroom dishes, or aged soft cheeses. A wine that will delight you with its finesse and depth.
