About the manufacturer
Glenmorangie
Glenmorangie is one of Scotland's leading single malt whisky distilleries and has stood for exceptional craftsmanship since 1843. Located in the Highlands of Tain, the distillery uses the tallest stills in Scotland – a secret to the distinctive, elegant and fruity style that distinguishes Glenmorangie worldwide.
What makes the distillery special is its innovative philosophy: While many whisky producers follow traditional paths, Glenmorangie consciously experiments with different cask types and maturation lengths. The "wood finishing" tradition – aging in a variety of wooden casks such as bourbon, sherry, port, or Tokaj – gives each whisky its own unique profile. From the original bottling to the complex Lasanta and the exotic A Tale of Tokyo, you'll find a diversity here that will take you on a flavor journey.
The distillery combines high quality with accessibility – you get premium single malts without unnecessary markups. At Wine In Time, you'll find the full range of this exceptional producer, from classic favorites to limited-edition creations, and benefit from the expertise of our specialists.

X
Glenmorangie X is a single malt Scotch whisky that blends the tradition of the Scottish Highlands with contemporary accessibility. The Glenmorangie distillery, known for its slender stills and its penchant for exceptional cask maturations, has created with the X a whisky consciously aimed at a new generation of connoisseurs. In the world of Scottish spirits, this dram represents uncomplicated elegance without any elitist airs.
Glenmorangie X matures in a combination of bourbon and new oak casks, which impart its characteristic creaminess and sweetness. This innovative approach results in a smooth, rounded character that unfolds particularly well in mixed drinks, but is also impressive on its own. The winemaking process forgoes age statements, instead focusing on the harmonious interplay of different cask types.
On the nose, Glenmorangie X reveals delicate citrus notes, vanilla, and a hint of orange peel. On the palate, a creamy texture unfolds with sweet nuances of caramel, pear, and a touch of spice. The finish remains soft and mellow, with a long, pleasant aftertaste that invites another sip. This balance makes it ideal for a variety of drinking occasions.
At Wine In Time in Vienna, you can have this modern classic conveniently delivered to your home – with express delivery even on the same day, if you wish. Discover our other spirits selection and order the Glenmorangie X online to secure it for yourself.
