About the manufacturer
Arnaud Ente
Arnaud Ente is a small, ambitious winery in Meursault, the heart of the Chardonnay universe in Burgundy. The winemaker embodies the spirit of a new generation of Burgundians – meticulously crafted, yet without unnecessary dogmatism. His Wines are pure expressions of the Meursault terroirs, achieved through classic methods while maintaining a modern commitment to purity and transparency.
Arnaud focuses consistently on what he does best: Meursault in all its facets. The Wines mature in wooden barrels, with a clear emphasis on minerality and finesse – not on overripe excesses. Whether the classic "Meursault Vieilles Vignes" or the precise Premiers Crus like "Referts," you can immediately taste that this is someone who truly understands his homeland.
What makes them special is this balance between structure and elegance, between complexity and drinkability. Arnaud Ente's Wines don't need grand gestures – they impress with their inner consistency and purity. At Wine In Time, you'll find these Burgundy gems at fair prices because we work directly with established quality winemakers like this one.

The Arnaud Ente Bourgogne Blanc 2018 comes from the heart of Meursault, one of the most prestigious villages in Burgundy . Arnaud Ente is one of the region's unsung heroes – his Wines are rare, sought-after, and appreciated by connoisseurs worldwide. The grapes for this Bourgogne Blanc grow on calcareous soils, which impart the Chardonnay with its characteristic minerality. Vinification takes place in small oak barrels, where the wine is allowed to mature without losing its freshness.
On the nose, the Arnaud Ente Bourgogne Blanc 2018 unfolds a delicate bouquet of ripe pear, white peach, and subtle brioche notes. On the palate, it reveals its buttery and complex side: a creamy texture, juicy fruit, and precise acidity that provides structure and length. The finish is elegant, mineral, and marked by subtle spice – a wine that combines depth and finesse.
