Cornas 2003

The Allemand Thierry Cornas 2003 is an exceptional Syrah from one of the most prestigious vineyards in the Northern Rhône . Thierry Allemand is considered a master of his craft – his Wines from Cornas bear a distinctive signature and are among the most sought-after in the region. The 2003 Vintage, characterized by heat and concentration, produced Wines of exceptional depth.

Allemand practices minimal intervention in the vineyard, harvesting the grapes by hand and vinifying them traditionally in open wooden vats. Long maceration periods and careful aging give this Cornas its impressive structure and aging potential. The 2003 Vintage displays fascinating maturity after two decades – a wine that deserves time and respect.

On the nose, the Allemand Thierry Cornas 2003 unfolds dense aromas of dark berries, cassis, and blackberry, accompanied by notes of smoked bacon, black pepper, and graphite. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with velvety tannins that are perfectly integrated. The finish is long, spicy, and underpinned by an elegant minerality typical of the granite soils of Cornas.
