About the manufacturer
Sine Qua Non
Sine Qua Non is a California winery from Paso Robles, renowned for its unconventional and extremely limited productions. The founder and winemaker follows a radical philosophy: each bottle is a work of art, each Vintage an experiment with its own name and often its own design.
You won't find any standard Wines here. Sine Qua Non works with unusual grape blends and boldly experiments with vinification and style. Wines like "The Hated Hunter" or "Kolibri" are an expression of this artistic freedom – intense, complex, and often polarizing. The winery deliberately produces in tiny quantities, making these Wines highly sought-after collector's items.
Quality is non-negotiable. Despite the playful approach, the Wines produced possess great depth and aging potential, offering a unique interpretation of the Californian terroir. Each bottling tells a story and challenges you to reconsider your expectations of taste.
At Wine In Time you will find a curated selection of these rare treasures – for all those who dare to drink beyond the ordinary.

The 2013 Sine Qua Non Female is a masterpiece from Sine Qua Non, one of California's most iconic wineries. Here in California, Manfred Krankl creates Wines that captivate wine lovers worldwide – each Vintage unique, each bottle a statement. The Female is a tribute to the Grenache grape and demonstrates just how elegant and powerful this classic can be.
The grapes for the Sine Qua Non Female 2013 come from first-class vineyards and are vinified with meticulous handcraft. Spontaneous fermentation, gentle aging in French barriques, and minimal intervention allow the personality of the terroir to shine through. The result: a wine of exceptional depth and complexity that simultaneously combines finesse and structure.
On the nose, an enticing bouquet of dark cherries, blackberries, and violets unfolds, underpinned by hints of licorice, herbs, and fine leather. On the palate, the Female is velvety, dense, and concentrated. Ripe fruit meets fine-grained tannins, spicy notes, and a mineral freshness that lends the wine vibrancy. The finish is long, elegant, and leaves a lasting impression.
At Wine In Time, you can have this exceptional Red Wine conveniently delivered to your door in Vienna – quickly, safely, and in perfect condition. The Sine Qua Non Female 2013 is a rarity for collectors and connoisseurs alike.
