The Pur Gold Rot 2017 is an exceptional Red Wine from the Pur winery in Carnuntum, Lower Austria. This exclusive cuvée of Blaufränkisch and Syrah comes from one of Austria's most exciting wine-growing regions and demonstrates the elegance of Pannonian Wines. The Pur winery is committed to uncompromising quality – this auction wine is proof of that.
In vinification, the winery relies on precise hand-harvesting and gentle processing. The symbiosis between the local Blaufränkisch grape and the international Syrah grape results in a captivating aromatic profile. The 2017 Vintage offered ideal conditions for structured yet light Red Wines with delicate perfumery. The Pur Gold Rot 2017 matured in select oak barrels without losing its natural elegance.
On the nose, an enchanting bouquet of dark berries, spicy herbs, and a subtle floral note unfolds. On the palate, the wine is light-footed yet complex, with silky tannins and a lively acidity. The finish is lingering, perfumed, and leaves a hint of spices and wild berries. At 13% alcohol, it remains easy to drink and never heavy.
