La Delicatesse des Sables Les Amoureuses
The Robert Groffier La Delicatesse des Sables Les Amoureuses 2022 comes from one of Burgundy's most sought-after vineyards. The Robert Groffier estate is a quiet powerhouse in Chambolle-Musigny, and this Premier Cru parcel, "Les Amoureuses," is considered one of the finest Pinot Noir sites in the world. The name "La Delicatesse des Sables" refers to the sandy soils that give this wine its distinctive texture. Discover more Burgundy Wines in our selection.
The vinification follows traditional Burgundian craftsmanship: spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts, gentle extraction, and aging in French oak barrels. The 2022 Vintage displays remarkable freshness and crystalline clarity. The sandy soils of the vineyard impart a silky, almost ethereal texture that distinguishes this wine from classic Chambolle Wines.
On the nose, a bouquet of red cherries, raspberries, and violets unfolds, underpinned by delicate spice notes and a hint of forest floor. On the palate, the Robert Groffier La Delicatesse des Sables Les Amoureuses 2022 displays a captivating combination of power and elegance: the fruit is precise and vibrant, the tannins fine-grained and perfectly integrated. The finish is long, cool, and mineral – a wine that will linger long after you've finished tasting it.
