The Robert Groffier Les Amoureuses Premier Cru 2021 comes from one of the most legendary vineyards of the BurgundyDomaine Robert Groffier cultivates a small parcel of this exceptional Premier Cru vineyard in Chambolle-Musigny, which borders directly on the Grand Cru Musigny and is world-renowned for its feminine elegance. The Groffier family has been vinifying wine for generations with the utmost care and a deep respect for the terroir.
The Pinot Noir grapes are hand-harvested and traditionally processed in the cellar. After a cool maceration, fermentation takes place in open wooden vats. Aging in French barriques lasts approximately 15 months, with a moderate proportion of new oak not masking the fruit but subtly framing it. This 2021 Vintage showcases the typical finesse and precision of the winery.
On the nose, aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and violet unfold, accompanied by hints of fresh forest soil and delicate spice notes. On the palate, the wine is silky yet complex, with a fine tannin structure that is perfectly integrated.
